Hats, Hats & More Hats

Hats are a huge asset to a person's accessory collection for numerous reasons: fashion, style, warmth etc. A hat can make an outfit look super cute on purpose or by mistake and can increase your compliments. A hat especially with colors can also, throw off an outfit and make you look crazy.

Hats like the one above are typical hats worn in the winter for warmth with or without the ball and come in all colors for both males and females. The ones without the ball and a little smaller are called, beenies. Females can find hats like these at Forver 21 ($8.80/$9.90), TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Macy's.

Fitted Hats are worn in basically all the seasons: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Basketball, Baseball and Football Teams like the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Lakers and Cubs are printed on the front of them and they are typically the color of the team represented on the front. Guys typically match their outfits with these colors.
New Era is the major company that makes them and they're sold at places like New England City Sport, Eblens, Champs, Foot Locker and Lids. They typically run anywhere from $25-35.
The fitteds with the fur and flaps are a new trend that started around three or four years ago. They're supposed to be warm and fashionable. They look a little silly to me sometimes, but hey.
The hat above is a caberet and new to the scene since about 2008 or so. They've become hugely popular in 2010 and are worn by plenty of girls and even a few guys. They come in many colors and aren't to expensive. Places like Forever 21 has them from about $6.50 up to like $9.50.

This hat above has become widely popular as well since about 2010. It has an abundance of fur making it very warm, maybe a little to warm (I have one and my head is on fire), the flaps come down arond your ears and it even snaps around your chin. Both male and females wear them, they come in many colors and designs and there's even a knitted type. Places like Macy's, Forever 21 and TJ Maxx carry them and they're anywhere from $10 to $25.

Last but not least, the Fedora has been maintaining itself in the fashion world of celebrities for sure, but in the closets of many male and female college students, as well. I believe they've been made widely popular by Alicia Keys and Usher and can make an outfit really stand out. They range anywhere from $20-50 and can be found at Macy's, JCPenny, Express and Forever 21.
