When you feel that first breeze of cool air sweep through your hair and roll over your skin, in late September, you instantly get that hint of excitement because you know what trend is vastly approaching. Pea Coat season is right around the corner. Long, short and mid-drift in a wide variety of colors. The wool material on the outside with the silk inside will keep you warm from the cool air, but not hot enough to make you uncomfortable. Some include hoods now which is a great feature to keep your head warm or shield you from the rain. This green one down below is a woman's coat and is similar to my fab green peacoat I bought last fall. I love it to death and will probably wear it until it falls apart. I also, have a black one and had a blue one but it has a hole in it so I no longer wear it.
Pea Coats are a great way to be warm and stylish and are not only popular amongst girls, but boys are wearing them, also. They give males a very sophisticated and mature appeal seeming very business-like. Below is an all black men's peacoat that I think will look amazing on a guy, especially if he has on some slacks, dress shoes, and a button up with a cardigan or sweater over it.
You can find Pea Coats pretty much everywhere. Old Navy has coats on sale for $49, Target has some for $27.99 and $34.99, and TJ Maxx always has them starting from about $25 and going up.
Pea Coats can be worn for the very beginning of the winter, if that, but as soon as the below zero starts it's time to switch over to that good ol North Face or Bubble Jacket.
